For ENERCON, a green energy project means more than generating electricity from wind power. We take a holistic approach to renewable projects, integrating wind turbines with battery storage systems or additional renewable resources such as photovoltaic energy. By combining technology, data, services and strong partners, we create integrated energy solutions that deliver long-term value. At every phase of a green energy project – from site analysis and planning through permitting and implementation to operation and optimisation – we provide tailored solutions that support our customers to meet their needs.
We develop our solutions always with the green energy ecosystem in mind: a network of technologies, grid operators, system owners, political and regulatory institutions, as well as industry and business – integrating renewable generation reliably into the energy system. ENERCON sees itself not only as a provider of innovative solutions, but also as an active enabler within this green energy ecosystem.
In 2012, ENERCON founder and owner Dr Aloys Wobben transferred all his shares in the company to the Aloys Wobben Stiftung, a trust which ensures the business remains independent and has a corporate strategy that is focussed on the future. The Aloys Wobben Stiftung is the sole owner of the ENERCON holding company UEE Holding, which is the umbrella under which all companies involved in providing core and support services are organised.
