Description
The Mailiao wind farm is the first wind farm in Taiwan, located in the north-eastern part of the Mailiao Industrial Park in the Yunlin district. Formosa Heavy Industries ordered three 4.2MW E-115 EP3 turbines from ENERCON to replace four old turbines. The repowering will increase the wind farm's renewable energy production fivefold while reducing the total number of turbines.
